About Me

I'm a 22 year old and 3rd year student at Charles Telfair Institute, studying Mass Communication in Mauritius. I’m passionate about social networking, music, sports,
and I'm an active member in some Ngo’s around the Island.

I lost my beloved Dad when I was in the throes of Adolescence. My mother and I have had to learn how to face the "world” without the shoulders on which the family used to rest on ever since.

I grew up in an environment that led me to learn and discover the strength and power of being a woman. Welcome to Beyond Motherhood.

My avatar reflect 3 main subjects that I want to highlight:
Firstly I have choose this background to represent the society, Secondly the young ladies is a representation of cultural diversity and lastly strength and the empowerment of women.

It is not only a representation of my blog, but also of myself. I am among those women living in Mauritian culture and being young, I try to live with my friends by always keeping the society in mind, trying to face it instead of living according to the society standards and without letting anyone judgements and prejudices define who I am.
